Discover the profound healing potential of doing absolutely nothing. Yoga Nidra, or "Yogic Sleep," is a systematic method of complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Lying comfortably in Savasana, you will be guided into the deeply restorative states of brainwave activity, resetting your nervous system from the inside out.

Quick Jump

Yoga Nidra is not just "taking a nap." It is a state of dynamic sleep where your body rests completely, but your consciousness remains awake and aware. By hovering in the hypnagogic state between wakefulness and dreaming, you bypass the analytical mind.

Scientifically referred to as Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR), 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra can feel like 3 hours of deep sleep. It is incredibly effective for reducing PTSD, chronic stress, insomnia, and anxiety.

The core of Yoga Nidra involves lying perfectly still while being guided through a systematic journey of the self.

Body Scan

A rapid, guided rotation of awareness through different parts of the physical body. This maps directly to the motor cortex of the brain, forcing physical relaxation.

Visualization

Guided imagery and exploring pairs of opposites (e.g., feeling heavy, then feeling light) to harmonize the two hemispheres of the brain and clear emotional blockages.

The Sankalpa

At the beginning and end of each Nidra session, when the mind is most receptive, you will plant your Sankalpa. This is a short, positive statement of profound intention or resolve.

  • Planting a seed in the subconscious mind.
  • Aligning your deep inner truth with your outward life.
Deep relaxation and rest

This is the most physically accessible form of yoga in existence. The only requirement is to lie down and listen.

  • Comfort is King: You will be lying still for up to an hour. We provide thick mats, bolsters under the knees, blankets, and eye pillows to ensure you have zero physical distractions.
  • Mental Readiness: It is common to fall asleep during your first few sessions. The practice is learning to maintain the delicate thread of awareness while the body slumbers.

Gentle Awakening

Light Somatic movement and Hatha stretching to clear stiffness, followed by a 30-minute morning Nidra to set the tone for the day.

Afternoon

Theory & Intention

Workshops on the science of relaxation, journaling exercises to discover your true Sankalpa, and quiet time in nature.

Evening

Deep Journey

An extended 60-90 minute Yoga Nidra practice designed to take you into the deepest Delta brainwave states before bed.

Understand the mechanism of your own mind. We will study the science of brain waves (Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta), the autonomic nervous system, and the ancient yogic map of the Koshas (the five layers or sheaths of human existence).
